Where your pricing data goes.
Your quote history is the most commercially sensitive record in the building. Here is exactly what happens to it, in plain terms.
What you actually send us
You send 2 things. The first is the package as it arrived, which means the prints, the models, the quality documents and whatever workbook the buyer attached, in PDF, STEP, DWG, DXF, Excel or an email with all of it hanging off the bottom. We take it in the state it reached your inbox.
The second thing is job history, and you decide what goes in. Closed quotes, what the work actually cost, and the routings behind them. Most floors start with 1 product family. That is enough to price against and small enough to gather in an afternoon.
What redaction means in practice
Strip the customer name, the part number and anything else that identifies the account before you send it. The system reads the shape of a package, which operations the print calls for and what the tolerances demand, so it never needs to know whose logo is in the title block.
A redacted print prices exactly as well as a named one, so you lose nothing by holding the name back. Most floors redact everything for the pilot, watch a few quotes come out right, and then stop bothering. That is the sequence we expect and we are fine either way.
Where it sits
Your instance runs on infrastructure we stand up for your floor. It is not a shared pool with other manufacturers in it and it is not one database with a column marking which rows are yours. Everything is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest.
Packages move through a secure portal, so a drawing never sits in an email thread or on somebody’s laptop where it can be forwarded by accident. The practical consequence of running it this way is that your data is never in the same place as anyone else’s.
Who can open it
Your named users can open it, and so can the engineers configuring your build. Everyone has their own login, so there is no shared password circulating and every action is attached to a person. When someone leaves your team you tell us and their access ends that day.
Here is the part that matters most. Your pricing is never pooled with anyone else’s, never benchmarked against another manufacturer, and never used to price somebody else’s work. It does not train a model that another floor then quotes from. Your rates stay yours.
Who you are trusting
The team behind this has built and run systems for pharmaceutical, legal and insurance companies, including software handling patient data under HIPAA. That is the standard we are used to working at and the reason the questions on this page have straight answers rather than marketing ones.
We hold no security certifications of our own. No SOC 2, no ISO 27001, and no badge at the bottom of this page pretending otherwise. If your legal team needs an NDA, a data processing agreement or terms of their own drafting, send them over and we will sign them.
If you decide to stop
Your history and your quotes export back to you in a readable format, meaning spreadsheets and PDFs you can open without us. On request we delete your data from our side and confirm in writing that it is gone. There is no exit fee and no hostage clause.
The configuration is written down as you go, so the decisions behind your rates, your routings and your approval gates live in a document you keep. None of it sits in one engineer’s head. If you walk away you walk away with the thinking as well as the data.
Anything we have not answered.
Send it to us before the call rather than after, and we will answer it in writing.
